Holiday Service from Hoboken/NJT to Midtown/W. 39th St.

November 20, 2012. On Wednesday, November 21st, the new ferry service from Hoboken Train Terminal to Pier 79 on West 39th Street in Midtown Manhattan will begin afternoon service at 2:00 p.m. to accommodate commuters departing early for the holiday weekend. Service will depart Pier 79 starting at 2:00 p.m. and every 30 minutes thereafter. Beginning at 4:00 p.m., service will operate every 10 minutes until 6:00 p.m. when it will continue with 15 minute frequency until 8:00 p.m. The new service will not operate on Thursday or Friday, November 22nd and 23rd.
The new service, sponsored by NJ TRANSIT, will continue to cross-honor NJ TRANSIT train tickets. For those customers without train tickets, a discounted round-trip ticket of $10 can be purchased at a special ticket booth located in the Hoboken Train Terminal. Customers using this service can also access free NY Waterway shuttle buses for further travel within Manhattan.
Customers arriving at Hoboken Train Terminal can also use our regular ferry service operating to World Financial Center or Pier 11/Wall Street.
