Update On The Bravest
As everyone is aware, it has been several weeks since we have given an update on the repair of the Bravest. As these vessels are very complicated, parts are quite difficult to acquire and information on the manufacturing process can be even be more difficult. As the main engines are manufactured out of Germany, the majority of the parts must come from Europe. Although there are a few dealers in the USA, these dealers do no stock any major components as these can be hundreds of thousands of dollars. We are pleased to say that the parts are just about finished being manufactured and will be air shipped as soon as completed, hopefully next week. Once the parts arrive, we are expecting the vessel to be returned to service in approximately 4 weeks from that time. Just as an aside, the two new vessels we are building for our Belford service are presently on schedule for completion in January and April 2015, and will not present us with these types of issues. We thank you for your patience and continued patronage.
