Below, please find the current listing of open positions within Port Imperial Ferry Corp. Those positions listed in bold print are new postings. As stated in the Job Posting Policy, any applicant must be in their current position for a minimum of 6 months and posses the required skill level for the position they are applying for.


Position Requirements/Responsibilities

Facilities Manager PIFC Contractor liaison and management, including bid process and analysis, service negotiation, project monitoring, and inspection. Preparation of bid specifications to be sent to multiple vendors when various services are needed (Insurance, Construction, Cleaning, Professional services, etc).

Analysis of proposals for review (prices versus services provided)

Review of all contracts before presentation to company principals in simple, easy to understand format

Ongoing review of contractor performance

Ensure that all contractors maintain a valid certificate of insurance on file with our office

Addressing any company concerns with vendors, products and product liability

Lease administration and management, including ability to comprehend lease requirements and manage terms therein, including maintenance schedules, etc.

Duck Captain Ducks
  • Minimum of a 50-Ton License.

  • Mechanical Ability a plus.

  • Must have a valid CDL, with passenger & air brake endorsements


  • Director of Compliance / Training PFIC

    Applicant should have working knowledge of US Coast Guard Regulations, including Marine and Landside Terminal Homeland Security requirements.  Establishment and supervision of training programs and drills (man overboard drills, fire fighting drills, etc.) required to support Compliance requirements of the Marine Operation. <


    Captains PFIC
  • Minimum of a 100-Ton License

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

  • Bus Driver
    Full and Part Time Positions
    PFIC
  • Must have CDL Class B, be 21 years or older, & have a clean driving record.

  • Passenger endorsement & airbrakes.
