Hi my name is Cynthia Beaumont and I love taking the NY Waterway to the city for shopping, shows & sightseeing! I've lived in North Bergen my whole life I am a 3rd generation Jersey Girl! The route I take is from The Port Imperial Weehawken NJ to the Midtown Terminal NY.I started taking the ferry after 9/11 I feel it is the safest way to get to New York City, the peace of mind of feeling safe is priceless.
There are so many great reasons to take the ferry but they ask for one so for me it's the free shuttle buses! I start my trip to NYC by getting on the free Waterway shuttle that I catch on Blvd East they are very frequent and there is always a seat! I have never gotten on a NY Waterway shuttle bus and had to hear the dreaded "standing room only". Another great feature of the shuttle is the friendly drivers! and unlike most bus drivers the Waterway drivers will wait if they see you coming for the bus!
Currently I am a Vloger. I love to make videos I have a small video series of me traveling with a Mini Skinny Cow. Skinny cow is the mascot of Nestle's low calorie candy and Ice Cream line. I take Mini Skinny with me everywhere! And yes she loves to travel on the NY Waterway.
